Harry The House Spirit |
Spirits are sent to watch over and protect inhabitants of houses and buildings. Some spirits have an easy time maintaining harmony in their assigned structures, while others struggle to keep the occupants satisfied. Harry, an experienced spirit travels the world to find out why some people are happy, and others are always dissatisfied. |
It is a little-known fact that structures like houses and buildings are not just made of bricks, concrete, glass, and other materials, but are also overseen by a friendly spirit that is responsible for each. Before a structure can be occupied by anyone new, a friendly spirit must first be found to oversee it and make sure it is a warm and safe place that can accommodate those who occupy it. The spirit stays with the structure to watch over it and protect it and to make sure there is peace within. These spirits are called House Spirits. They are special, and those of us that live in the real world are so fortunate to have them watching over the places where we live, play, go to school, and visit. Now you may ask how a spirit can help to keep peace. Well, you see, these special House Spirits can enter the minds of people who are acting badly and get them to act in ways that will bring peace back. Also, if something is broken, they can get real people to fix it.. I think you would agree that knowing the places we enter are being watched over is a really good thing.
These spirits, when not assigned to a particular structure, live in a place called The Spirit House, that is overseen by the Spirit Master. Whenever someone wishes to construct something new, or moves from one home to another, it is the job of the Spirit Master to collect all the information about the new situation and its new Occupants and then match it with a House Spirit. This is an important job because, for a spirit assignment to be successful, the structure and its location, the House Spirit, and the new Occupants must all work together to make sure all goes well, and peace is maintained.
At this particular time, Harry, a very unique House Spirit, had just finished an assignment he had been working on because the people that had been living in that house had decided to move, and new people were moving in with a new House Spirit assigned to it. As usual after an assignment, Harry returned to The Spirit House and the Spirit Master greeted him, saying........
